Drop is a small app for keeping up with the five people you actually talk to. If something is not working, or you just have a question, we read every message.
Email us and a person will reply. Please tell us which phone you are using and what you were doing when it went wrong, as it saves a round of questions.

They have to keep you back. Keeping somebody is a request, not a decision you make about them on your own.
A message from somebody outside your five disappears ten minutes after you open it. If you never open it, it goes after a day.
Anything in a chat with one of your five is kept instead. Messages, photos and video all stay for both of you.
No, and we want to be straight with you about why. What you keep is held on your own phone, not on our servers. There is no backup anywhere, so there is nothing for us to restore.
That is the trade for your conversations not sitting in a company database. It also means nobody at Drop can read them, and nothing can be handed over later.
Only somebody you have kept, and who has kept you back.
Your number is never shown on an offering and never handed to a stranger. If someone wants what you are offering, they send a request, and a conversation only opens if you say yes.
You can block anyone you have kept. Neither of you can message the other afterwards, and they are not told.
You can report a person, a message, or an offering. A real person reads every report, and nothing happens to an account automatically. If you are worried about something urgent, email us directly.
Open Settings and choose to delete your account. It asks you twice, because it cannot be undone.
Everything we hold is destroyed, and what is stored on your phone goes with it.
That is meant to happen. One account, one handset.
It is what stops somebody else using your number to read your messages, so signing in on a new phone always signs the old one out.
